Our name, an homage to my beloved grandmother Delora, intertwines her legacy with the symbolism of the golden phoenix—a resilient, ever-rising symbol of renewal and strength.

My Story

In 2016, I took a leap and became a Family Nurse Practitioner, driven by a passion for healing and nurturing. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, my journey took an unexpected turn when the call for help echoed loudly amidst the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic. Without hesitation, I ventured to New York City, not knowing it would become my new haven.

In the heart of the city's turmoil, amidst the relentless battle against the pandemic, I found an unspoken connection—a love affair with the energy, resilience, and spirit of NYC. It became my home, a place where my roots intertwined with the vibrant heartbeat of the city.

But my path here wasn't without its trials. I've endured hardships that tested my spirit—physical, emotional, and even sexual abuse. Yet, those adversities sculpted my resolve. I chose not to be defined by those moments but to rise above them, akin to the phoenix, igniting a fire within to help others overcome similar tribulations.

Life took a beautiful turn when Nyomi Phoenix entered my world, a radiant source of joy and resilience. Motherhood illuminated my purpose, reinforcing my commitment to protect, nurture, and empower not just her but everyone I encountered.
